Professor Veronika Fikfak
Professor of Human Rights and International Law, University College London
Veronika Fikfak is Professor of Human Rights and International Law at the UCL School of Public Policy and co-Director of the UCL Institute for Human Rights. She leads the Human Rights Nudge and Break the Bias projects, which study compliance with international human rights judgments, the remedies courts award, and who is able to reach human rights justice in the first place.
She is a Permanent Visiting Professor at the iCourts Centre of Excellence, University of Copenhagen, and is on the list of judges ad hoc at the European Court of Human Rights. She serves as an expert member of the Advisory Committee to the UN Human Rights Council and a member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration. She is Vice-President of the European Society of International Law.
